When Can You Transfer Without Employer Consent?

  • After your contract period ends (no renewal)
  • Salary delayed for 3+ months
  • Employer violates labour law terms
  • During or after a labour dispute filed with HRSD
  • After 7 years of continuous employment with same employer

How to Transfer via Qiwa

  • New employer initiates request on qiwa.sa
  • Employee approves the request via their Qiwa account
  • Old employer has 14 days to object (if consent required)
  • New employer pays the SAR 2,000 transfer fee
  • Iqama and work permit are transferred and updated
